Cleaning and purification equipment for personnel
The carryover of particles by assembly personnel who work alternately in different areas represents one of the greatest risks to assembly cleanliness. Therefore, mixing activities of workers should always be examined more closely as part of the risk analysis and an avoidance strategy adapted to the respective local conditions should be established.
According to the classifications of VDA 19.2, the carryover of particles is an indirect contamination influence and mechanism, which is, however, of central importance in achieving assembly cleanliness objectives. This is because when assembly personnel work alternately in different areas, contamination can be carried over via hands, gloves, clothing and shoes and transferred to functional surfaces and their immediate surroundings.
Active and passive cleaning equipment for personnel
At CleanControlling, we offer cleaning equipment for personnel that can significantly reduce the risk of particle carryover. In the best case, you can dispense with further measures to ensure assembly cleanliness or at least reduce their scope.
Cleaning equipment for personnel is divided into different categories: In the sole cleaning section, you will find clean run mats and matching accessories, as well as the Solamat 90 active cleaning system. Assembly gloves enable precise execution of work in the mechanical industry and automotive industry, while reducing the entry and carryover of particles via the hands. We also offer a glove cleaning system, which is also suitable for regular cleaning of hands.
The use of cleaning equipment for personnel is an economically viable option to reduce the risk of particle carryover. In addition, the installation of cleaning equipment for personnel facilitates organizational implementation and closes critical gaps in production processes.
Cleaning equipment for personnel to clean soles
To reduce particle ingress by personnel entering a clean zone (SaS 1) or clean room (SaS 2) in compliance with VDA 19.2, a clean mat is a proven solution. Cleaning of soles with coarse profiling is achieved by stepping on and over the clean run mat, which also makes applicable access restrictions clear through the eye-catching color of the bristles and supplementary labeling at both exit areas, thus keeping unauthorized persons away from these areas.
Beneath the 900 mm x 810 mm (L x W) clean run mat is a stainless steel tray that collects sole dirt and is covered by an 800 mm x 600 mm rubber honeycomb mat. Round brushes with yellow bristles and gray bristles at the edges are embedded in it, which can be replaced and renewed as needed, just like the rubber honeycomb mat.
If the use of a clean mat as cleaning equipment for personnel is not possible or desired, we offer the Solamat 90, an active cleaning system for cleaning soles, which is also suitable for clean zones and clean rooms. Four counter-rotating roller brushes and two laterally rotating round brushes with nylon bristles are set in motion by a round belt drive with a powerful electric motor as soon as the foot sensor is activated.
Clean hands for clean assembly and production
Assembly gloves in sizes 6-10 made of white polyurethane foam enable precision work to be performed in industry and make contamination immediately visible. The tactile material offers excellent abrasion resistance and comfort, and absorbs perspiration very well.
To complement this cleaning equipment for personnel, we also carry a glove cleaning system based on an adhesive adhesive roll. Particles adhering to the hands are absorbed by touching the surface, after which the top layer is peeled off and the glove cleaning system is immediately fully ready for use again. Of course, you can also order replacement adhesive rolls for this system from us.
