Analysis accessories for laboratory work 

For cleanliness analyses, analytical accessories are also needed in large quantities. These include filter membranes made of different materials and sizes, archiving boxes, extraction standards, test particles and more. Filter membranes as analysis accessories for filtrations in the laboratory 

Filtration is the common method to separate solid particles from liquids. Filter membranes or membrane filters in various designs and sizes enable the targeted filtration of the extracted particles. The pore or mesh size of the filter membranes required for the specific filtration is specified by standards or must be selected according to cleanliness requirements or the volume of particles. 

In the analysis accessories category, we keep filter membranes made of materials such as PET (polyester), nylon or cellulose nitrate with numerous different pore sizes in stock for you in order to separate the particles relevant to the size in each case. Due to their flat surfaces, they allow reliable light-optical analysis and evaluation of even very small particles in the range of 2 µm to 5 µm. 

Dispensers and exchange cassettes for filter membranes

Working with filter membranes is facilitated by additional analysis accessories such as the SEFAR(R) CleanDisc Dispenser and SEFAR(R) CleanDisc cassettes. The dispenser is used to place the analysis filters directly into a Petri dish, protecting the mesh filter from environmental influences. The cassettes contain a refill pack of the filters and can be conveniently replaced, providing additional protection against contamination.

The range of analysis accessories is rounded off by drawer magazines and storage boxes for archiving the used filters, filter frames and archiving cards, or even a blower for easily removing fibers and foreign particles from the filter frames.

Extraction standards and test particles

 As further analysis accessories you will find at CleanControlling usage and calibration standards to provide proof of capability in cleanliness tests. Our products are universally suitable for determining recovery rates of the test particles used in accordance with VDA 19.1. 

The available test particles provide you with a realistic range of applications, since the latter are obtained specifically as real chips from a machining operation. With the test particles you have the possibility to optimize test procedures for cleanliness tests by determining the recovery rate of standard particles. In parallel, the performance of industrial parts cleaning equipment can be continuously monitored and tested.
