Sampling bag
Sterile sampling bags made of LDPE by CleanControlling
Medical devices must be clean and thus safe for the user or patient. This means that, as far as is technically possible, they must be free of residues - regardless of whether these arise during production or subsequent packaging. To ensure product cleanliness, it is essential and therefore also mandatory to define validated cleaning processes for workplaces, equipment and other production factors, and to demonstrate and ensure their effectiveness through regular checks and analyses.
For this purpose, suitable samples must be taken and analyzed in a laboratory. Safe sampling and transport of the sample to the laboratory without adulteration can only be ensured with appropriate equipment. For example, glass bottles and similar containers are often only suitable for sampling to a very limited extent because of the risk of contamination (in the case of open bottles) or due to insufficient cleaning of the bottles, for example. By using CleanControlling's sampling bags, such problems can be reliably ruled out in advance. The sampling bags, made of LDPE, have been specially developed for the safe packaging of samples and shipment to the laboratory.
The bags can be ordered from CleanControlling in two sizes: Small sampling bags with a wall thickness of 76 μm are 150 mm long and 230 mm wide, while the large bags are made of 102 μm thick LDPE and are 380 mm long and 508 mm wide. Both versions are liquid-tight, very compact, and easy and safe to use.
Both the large and small sampling bags are transparent and feature a labeling field. The bags are held open by a wire handle during the filling process and can be closed easily and securely via the two round wires extending beyond the edge of the bag, for example for subsequent shipping. Handling of the bags is simple, efficient and safe because the ends of the wire hangers are shrink-wrapped to prevent skin injuries when closing or opening.
Sterile sampling bags for many applications
The sampling bags are sterile, non-cytotoxic and endotoxin-free. This makes them suitable, among other things, for transporting tissue and blood samples and allografts, as outer packaging for medical storage trays or kits, for sterilizing medical devices, and for transferring medical and other products into chambers for sterility testing. Other uses for sterile sampling pouches include safe disposal of contaminated waste or sharps (e.g., scalpels or cannulas), and as outer packaging for evidence and for its storage. Sampling bags are used in medicine and veterinary medicine, as well as in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries and other sectors. CleanControlling's sampling bags can be ordered in packaging units of 10 pieces each.
On request, CleanControlling Medical GmbH & Co. KG, as an accredited testing laboratory for medical devices, can carry out the biological, chemical and/or particulate analysis of the samples taken. The test reports are written internationally and FDA-compliant in German and English and can also be prepared GLP-compliant ("Good Laboratory Practice") upon request.
