suction extraction
Particle Suction Extraction System: High-quality
laboratory equipment for your cleanliness testing.
CleanControlling developed the complementary
method of suction extraction in response to requests for alternative dry
extraction methods and first launched the Particle Suction Extraction System in
2018. This particle suction extraction is now a variant of the air extraction
described in the standards.
Application-oriented particle extraction with
particle suction extraction system.
The testing of particle contamination on
functionally relevant components, which essentially results from the
manufacturing process, is carried out by indirect testing. Before microscopic
evaluation by measuring, counting and typing the particles, they are detached
from the component by a sampling step and then deposited on analysis filters.
The sampling step, called extraction, is performed using liquid or dry medium.
In the field of technical cleanliness,
full-surface liquid extraction for determining the particle load present has
been state of the art for years and was originally described in VDA 19 of 2004.
However, wet extraction is rather unsuitable for components that can be damaged
in contact with liquid media. In 2015, therefore, new extraction methods,
including air extraction by blowing off the components in a closed extraction
cabinet, were included in the revised VDA 19.1 and later also in ISO 16232. In
the meantime, the spectrum of components has changed considerably, also in
connection with e-mobility and assistance systems, for which air extraction by
blowing off also reaches its limits. For example, testing the large components
of battery systems in a closed extraction cabinet is unsuitable. But also the
requirement for suitable test methods directly in the process environment
cannot be fulfilled with the established extraction methods.
CleanControlling's particle suction extraction
system enables the suction extraction of dry adhering particles as a mobile
compact system C|PS² or as a complete system with digital control C|PS³apex.
The particles are loosened from the surface with nozzles, extracted and
selectively collected or deposited on sample carriers such as laboratory
bottles, analysis filters or particle traps. The extraction parameters are also
qualified by means of decay measurement in accordance with VDA 19.1 / ISO
16232. Analysis filtration and light-optical analysis are also carried out in
accordance with VDA 19.1 / ISO 16232, thus producing reproducible and
comparable results. Suction extraction is increasingly defined and normatively
described in test specifications of well-known OEMs and suppliers.
The particle suction extraction system as
support in mobile laboratory equipment
With the particle suction extraction system you
have a non-destructive and mobile test method with suction extraction to carry
out your cleanliness tests economically, quickly and practically. Particles are
extracted from the surface by suction and extracted particles are separated by
the cyclone unit. Particles are collected in a laboratory bottle, analysis
filter or particle trap and then counted, measured and typed using microscopic
analysis.
The particle extraction system is supplied as a
compact system C|PS² for uncomplicated transport in a compact and combinable
case system together with the necessary accessories. In addition to the
particle-suction extraction system, this also contains helpful analysis and
extraction equipment. Laboratory bottles and cleaning utensils for the
particulate extraction system are also included in the compact system for your
mobile cleanliness tests.
Innovative particulate extraction system with
digital control
The particle-suction extraction system C|PS³apex
as a complete system with the innovative digital control, the particle-suction
extraction system is particularly suitable for repetitive tests, e.g. inline
tests accompanying series production in the process environment or also in the
laboratory itself. Several component-specific test parameters can be stored,
which then guide the user to the test process via voice prompts and on-screen
display. The test parameters are reliably maintained by integrated monitoring
of the volume flow.
Expand the spectrum of your laboratory tests for
your own company with the Particle Suction Extraction System. Technical cleanliness is of high relevance
for various growth industries, which is why the demand for modern laboratory
technology for dry extraction methods will continue to grow in the future.
