In addition to the long-established wet extraction, VDA 19.1 Technical Cleanliness also specifies other extraction methods such as manual air extraction or suction extraction. Both methods have the advantage that the component to be tested does not come into contact with a liquid medium, which is a considerable advantage for air filters or sensitive electronic components, for example.

If required, hoses for suction extraction can also be ordered as accessories or spare parts. This is characterized by the fact that there are no or only minimal gaps when inserting the hoses for suction extraction in the particle suction system or when connecting the hose end and nozzle. The system also does not have any undercuts in which particles could get stuck, which would falsify the analysis result. 

Tubes for suction extraction are available in different lengths: The CPS² connection hose is required for suction extraction via the cyclone unit and is 0.5 m long. If the suction extraction is to take place via a filter unit, the connection hose is not required, in this case only the 2.0 m long suction hose (included in the scope of delivery of the particle suction system) is used. If you need a shorter or longer suction hose, you can get these hoses for suction extraction in different lengths in the online store. They are each equipped with 2 hose nozzles and 2 end caps, so they can be mounted and used directly.
